As we have been able to figure out of the role of Drama in different contexts of life, experiencing that it mirrors the society and portrays both sad and good situations within ordinary or special life, expressing societal issues and suggesting many of the ways to solving the raised problems and exploring it’s vastness, “Galaxy Cultural Troupe” was found. We use expressive therapy to solve problems, achieve a catharsis, fathom truths about self and explore unhealthy personal patterns of behavior, culture and interpersonal interaction within the community. All of these are done in an assemblage of “Drama-therapy” as a key aim of the troupe foundation.
Drama is an essential tool for creativity and ambition setting and even handling obstacles. It is a weapon to fight the weird and surrender for the best. The core element embodied within Drama to be successful is “empathy“; the intellectual identification of the thoughts, feelings, or state of another person. Drama reaches the community and helps them to solve their own problems with active non-violence (A.N.V) techniques as we have experimented during the workshop conducted with secondary teachers. It also enables and engage the community within public programs actively motivated with such clear understanding.
