“A better community is a community that interacts,”Galaxy Cultural Troupe

A sustainable well-being and development begins in the mindset. That’s why we commit ourselves in mobilization, skills development and community engagement as a call-to-action outreach.

The 26th March 2016, we had a very welcomed presentation in a community based work called” umuganda”. We called it “Iyo menya” i.e “If I knew” before about 1,000 people of MBWE cell in Kamato village of Gashaki sector in Musanze District over-viewing Ruhondo lake. We received much love from that lovely place, people enjoyed and interacted deeply with actors. They gave us feedback as well as recommendations dedicated to both their local leaders about organizing special events like that. They say ,” we feel like isolated that things like these are for townees yet messages are for us in the countrysides. We use to listen to radio drama but we still need to participate in such things actively. This has awakened us and opened our eyes to aiming further as possible and dream big. But it also reminds us of the culture and the role of cooperation and togetherness towards achieving goals.”

The topic we discussed about focused on different issues such as hygiene, juvenile delinquency, work and poverty.
